We tag teamed Fry's Grocery Store.

This past weekend, we decided to shop for most of our groceries at Fry's. Since they are now accepting competitor's coupons, we thought we would use Fresh and Easy's buy $20, get $5 off. So, we had two coupons. We shopped together and then divided the groceries to pay separately. I can't make up my mind if this is the right thing to do or the wrong thing to do since one is technically only supposed to use one coupon at a time, right? I am not sure.

End of story: We bought about $40 worth of groceries (beautiful (on sale) New York Strip steaks included) and saved about $50 total. We saved more than we bought!

I believe the policy is one coupon per transaction so I think you're okay.

I know what you mean though. I've been meaning to ask CVS if their ExtraCard is one per person or one per family.

I don't like the idea of cheating a store but, at the same time, if their policy allows it, I do want to save as much as I can! :)

Wow! I also did the same thing today and saved a lot! I used a $6.00 coupon and combined that with Fry's current sale which is a buy 10 items for $10. I bought a lot more than that, but I was able to save about 43% and spent a combined total of 83.00. The current quadruple your coupon value is a huge deal! Fry's is now confirmed as my place to shop primarily for groceries, especially during big sales like now! Unfortunately, today was the last day of their current deals however, they might still continue the triple/quadruple your coupons. They usually bring it out from time to time. This is a really good way to save, thanks.

Also, I recommend everyone to sign up for a free account at: http://www.shortcuts.com This site will allow you to link your fry's membership and a few other sites so that you can go online, pick coupons from their site and automatically link these coupons to your VIP Club Card. Hopefully this is tip ends up being helpful to someone. Thanks.
